Meet our new Executive Director Tana Peterman
We are please to introduce our new Executive Director, Tana Peterman. With over 20 years of experience in education, including classroom teaching and building partnerships through nonprofit work, Tana is not only passionate about our mission but deeply rooted in our community.
Tana and her husband live in Bryn Mawr-Skyway and are proud parents to two elementary students in our District. Living in Skyway and having kids in Renton schools means she truly understands our needs and the assets of our district community, making this transition feel just right. Together with Superintendent Pattenaude, Renton Schools Foundation is dedicated to supporting all our students, families, and staff throughout Renton Schools!

Throughout my two decades working in education, I have committed to building partnerships that keep students, educators, and families at the center of everything I do, and I'm thrilled to see this same commitment from the Renton Schools Foundation.
It is even more special to take on this role while my two children are in the District. I look forward to working with our community to ensure that all Renton students have the experiences, skills, and strong sense of self to thrive during and beyond their time in Renton schools."
