Through our Teachers Grant Program, Kennydale Elementary students have the opportunity to explore coding and robotics using Ozobots, pocket-size robots.

To use the Ozobots, students design a code on paper using colored markers. Each color corresponding to different movements. Then, the Ozobot moves along with their code.

One student in Haley Jenkins' third grade class mentions that she loves robotics, with her favorite activity being designing new codes, and watching how the Ozobot will respond each time.

Not only do Ozobots introduce students to coding and robotics, but it also teaches them responsibility as they created class agreements to ensure that these kits are taken care of.
